How do you get young men in their 20s to talk about vegan cheese? By hosting the world’s first CS-GO tournament celebrating cheesy moves.
A ”cheesy” move is used when a gamer does something for their own benefit that is unexpected, unfair and simply not cool in the laws of gaming. And the term has been used since early 2000.
To get a buzz, and have people sign up for the tournament we partnered up with 3 well known creators. The event was live-streamed on twitch and prior to the event the creators hosted cooking shows on their twitch channels using only… Vegan Cheese.

Creators
The creators played showmatches during the tournament and acted as judges, deciding on the 3 top cheesy moves.
Prior to the tournament they hosted vegan cheese cooking shows on their respective channels and it generated such interest in the tournament we had to expand the number of teams that could sign up to play not one, or two but four times.

Mimimimichaela (Michaela Lintrup) is one of the most awarded Valorant players in the world.

SampeV2 (Samuel Stronegger) is a hyped content creator, youtuber and twitch-streamer, mainly playing counter-strike when streaming.

Allu played for the infamous Ninjas in Pyjamas during the time of the event. NIP is the CS:GO team with most consecutive wins in the history of CS:GO.

CS:GO Skins
Custom skins in CS:GO is huge, and part of making it the game as popular as it is.
Skins can be won, traded and sold in-game or through 3rd party sites, with the most expensive skin selling for just over $400,000. Quite a lot for some fancy pixels.
To fully tap into the cheesy theme we introduced a new skin that could be used during the tournament: The Cheese Slicer

Would probably need some slicing to get the deed done.

It was fun getting use of my 10.000 hours from Counter-Strike for other than pwning n00bs with sick flick shots.
